Blessed to be married to Karen for 30 years. We have six children (4 daughters/2 sons) ages 16 to 30, and one wonderful granddaughter.

0.9 miles @ 10:33/mi

I only got as far as the intersection at 1600 N and 400 E. I had to wait for the light. When I started off the curb my right calf pulled. I slowly walked home. I decided to pick trash up along the way to not make it a total waste.

I played basketball on Tue and Fri mornings the past two weeks with my son Andrew and my old basketball buddies in Pleasant Grove. I felt some calf pain on Tue, but it felt better by Fri morning and didn't bother me. We played extra long on Friday. My calf felt a little tight on Saturday. That's one reason I decided to go for an easy run, to stretch it out a bit. I guess it was tighter than I thought.

For good or bad, this took me out of church basketball which started the next week. I'm entering this on Feb 1, and so far I think the team is undefeated without me.
