Get back to a BQ marathon time (currently 3:40).

Long-Term Running Goals:

Have fun running, keep fit, and fight middle age spread. Run consistently and injury free. Maintain a healthy balance between running and other life priorities. Encourage my ever-aging running buddies to keep running so we can continue to share runs on the trail instead of rocking chairs.

Personal:

Blessed to be married to Karen for 30 years. We have six children (4 daughters/2 sons) ages 16 to 30, and one wonderful granddaughter.

2 miles @ 10:39/mi. My ankle is still bothering me some. I know I can't do a full run everyday, but I want to take what my body will give me and do a little more at a time. Today was mostly a get out of bed, get dressed, and get out there running day. I gradually need to get my body adjusted back to my old routine. I really let myself go during this winter of my discontent. I've got a deep hole to climb out of. At least I'm headed in the right direction...knock on wood.

It's kind of amazing how fast you can lose the fitness that took months to gain...I think that's probably true of a lot of things. What you've got going for you is your commitment to follow through on all your goals. Hope you can get into St. George this year. It'd be fun going into the ten year club together.
